Media seeks interviews with women re infertility
I am currently developing a television documentary series on the issue of fertility/infertility. I believe that talking about infertility can help women going through this to know that they are not alone in their struggles. The experiences and insights shared by women can be quite helpful as they will provide education, support, encouragement and much needed hope.
I am looking for women of all ages to share their stories with me. Some will be asked to share on-camera but only if they are comfortable doing so. Please know that I treat this subject very seriously with compassion and sensitivity. I'd like to discuss with you your infertility history and your journey thus far to conceive a child. Whether it's your first child, or third child, I'd like to speak to all women experiencing infertility. It is my hope that you will want to share your story and hopefully help other women going through the same situation.
I am looking for women of any age who...
* preferably live in Southern Ontario, although I am also interested in hearing from women all over Canada & the USA
* may be just starting out, in active treatment, trying again after having stopped treatment, or deciding to stop at this time
* may be using Western medicine, trying 'complementary therapies', or some combination of both
* have been trying on their own for at least a year with no results; have made the decision to start fertility treatments; are undergoing treatment; or have completed treatment
* are not pregnant yet or just found out they are pregnant...
I thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you.
